Create a social campaign for an e-commerce site. With a target market of older men often making unplanned purchases and generally interested in “nerd culture”, we wanted to make a campaign that was offbeat and expected.

Seize the day was the focus of the campaign. First we created “starter-packs” showing what lifestyle the goods available on DealNews would allow consumers to have, from being a Workout Warrior to The Couch King.
We then poked fun at the “inspirational posts” that we all see anytime we open our Instagram feed by inserting current deals that are available.
Finally, we showed what happens when you pass up deals. We wrote Missed-Connections for the deals that people have passed up. And showed failed life-hacks, showing how people make do when they skip buying the rainfall shower head.
